Monarchs Stephane Fiset, wearing one of the special jerseys on Feb 17th, saves another in a 5 to 3 win over the Quebec Citadelles |
As a tribute to the special NH Hockey Hall of Fame Day and the city of Manchester, the Manchester Monarchs Hockey Club raised over $22,000 with the proceeds donated to the Franco American Centre, New Hampshire Hockey Hall of Fame. The Monarchs wore limited edition 1967 Manchester Blackhawks sweaters. These sweaters were auctioned off in a silent auction during the game and a live auction following the game for these limited-edition jerseys. Manchester Monarchs left wing Derek Bekar’s jersey topped all bids during the night with a final bid of $3,100. |
